Wisconsin Center District names new Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Jeannine Sherman has joined WCD’s leadership team

MILWAUKEE (November 17, 2025) — The Wisconsin Center District (WCD), owners and operators of Baird Center, Miller High Life Theatre and UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, announce the hiring of Jeannine Sherman to the WCD’s leadership team as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

“As our organization continues to expand its reach and impact, Jeannine’s expertise in brand storytelling and marketing strategy will help elevate our profile locally and nationally,” said Wisconsin Center District President and CEO Marty Brooks. “We’re excited to have her vision and energy on our leadership team.”

Sherman brings more than 20 years of award-winning experience in marketing, communications and public relations. She began her career as a writer, driven by a passion for telling powerful, purposeful and authentic stories — a passion that evolved into a leadership career spanning every facet of integrated marketing and communications. Throughout her career, she has led institutional rebrands, guided enterprise-level website overhauls and content strategies and directed high-performing campaigns that blend creativity with measurable impact.

Most recently, Sherman served as Marketing and Communications Director at the Wisconsin Historical Foundation, leading a team of communications, marketing and public relations professionals to elevate public awareness of the Wisconsin Historical Society. She has also held leadership roles with Visit Milwaukee, Carroll University and Vivent Health.

“It’s exciting to join such a talented team at a time of such incredible growth and opportunity at the Wisconsin Center District,” Sherman said. “I’m eager to collaborate with colleagues across all venues to create compelling experiences for our guests and share the energy and excitement that makes this organization truly special.”

Sherman officially assumed the role on November 10.
