One non-profit organization will receive an all-expenses-paid gala in Baird Center’s rooftop Baird Ballroom
Baird Center is proud to announce the opening of applications for its highly anticipated Gala Giveaway contest. Area 501(c)(3) organizations are invited to apply to win a complimentary gala in Baird Center’s breathtaking rooftop Baird Ballroom valued at $63,000. Eligible organizations must apply using this application. Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. on February 28, 2025.
“Nonprofit organizations are the heart of our community,” Wisconsin Center District President and CEO Marty Brooks said. “These organizations tackle even the toughest of challenges, often on shoestring budgets. By gifting one exceptional 501(c)(3) a free gala, we hope to set the organization up for future financial success, so they can continue to move mountains and inspire change.”
The complimentary gala package includes the following:
- Complimentary room rental of the stunning rooftop Baird Ballroom.
- Access to ample Pre-function space.
- Full use of the Baird Sky View Terrace, with sweeping views of the Milwaukee skyline.
- A chef’s choice three-course menu for up to 500 guests.
- Two bottles of red and two bottles of white wine per table.
- Tables, chairs, linens and place settings.
- CTI audio visual credit for up to $15,000.
- Mutually agreed upon date in 2026 to host the gala.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Center District will devote 40 staff volunteer hours to the winning organization.
First Stage was the Gala Giveaway’s 2025 winner.
“First Stage is deeply honored to be the second recipient of the Baird Center’s Gala Giveaway Contest,” First Stage Managing Director Daniel Grambow said. “This generous gift empowers us to share and celebrate our mission of transforming lives through theater, expanding our reach to even more community members at our annual Make Believe Ball!”
First Stage’s Make Believe Ball will be held on April 19.
