A Conversation with Josh Cowen, Professor of Education Policy, Michigan State University and Visiting Center Fellow, Education Law Center. Special event in conjunction with our annual Go Public! Happy Hour at the State Education Convention, Baird Center, Milwaukee. Josh Cowen is author of “How School Voucher Programs Hurt Students” (Time) and The Privateers: How Billionaires Created a Culture War and Sold School Vouchers (2024, Harvard Education Press).
Connect with public education champions and Network partners from around the state from 4:30-7:30. Conversation with Josh Cowen will take place from 5:30-6:30 with happy hour/s immediately before and after, featuring a welcome from special guest State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly.
