Baird Center named a 2025 Center of Excellence by EXHIBITOR Magazine list
The Wisconsin Center District (WCD), owners and operators of Baird Center, Miller High Life Theatre and UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, is proud to announce that Baird Center is a 2025 winner of EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Centers of Excellence awards. The award recognizes the best convention centers in North America for hosting trade shows and events. Baird Center is also one of three convention centers to be nominated in the category of 100,000-500,000 square feet of exhibit space, which will be awarded next month.
“This honor is a testament to the hard work we do to deliver world-class experiences every day to our clients and guests. The newly expanded and modernized Baird Center is a venue that is second-to-none when it comes to amenities and features, but what sets us apart is our staff, who make every client and attendee feel special through our core values to Be Bold. Be Proud. Be Experience Obsessed,” WCD President and CEO Marty Brooks said.
Convention centers were evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Facility and functionality.
- Location and accommodations.
- Service and execution.
- Upgrades and expansions.
- Sustainability.
EXHIBITOR Magazine also surveyed event planners, show organizers and exhibit managers who have recently hosted or exhibited at events within the facility. Lastly, a panel of corporate exhibit managers reviewed entrants’ event spaces, selling points and innovations.
Baird Center is one of 25 venues to be awarded this honor, alongside other notable winners including Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart, Colorado Convention Center, Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, Los Angeles Convention Center, San Diego Convention Center and Seattle Convention Center.
