Grady L. Crosby Appointed to Wisconsin Center District Board


MILWAUKEE, WI – (February 8, 2019) – The Wisconsin Center District (WCD) has announced the appointment of Grady L. Crosby to the board. The WCD owns and operates the Wisconsin Center, Miller High Life Theatre, and UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

“The Wisconsin Center District and its facilities are at the forefront of the next wave of continuous growth in Milwaukee,” said Crosby. “Working with a group of leaders who are charged with keeping Milwaukee attractive to locals and visitors alike is an extremely exciting opportunity.”

Crosby’s appointment was made by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

Grady’s personal and professional acumen will have broad positive impact on our future. I look forward to his participation.”

A graduate of Howard University (BA) and Wake Forest University School of Law (JD), Crosby has spent the last eight years with Johnson Controls. He is currently the Vice President of Public Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer, and president of the Johnson Controls Inc. Foundation. He serves on several prominent area boards including Froedtert Health, the Wisconsin Policy Forum, the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, and VISIT Milwaukee.

The next meeting of the WCD board will be held on Friday, March 22,, 2019.
