March 23, 2020 — Earlier today Governor Evers announced he will be issuing ‘Safer At Home’ guidelines and requirements for all non-essential businesses. The order will be formally issued Tuesday. This means that, until further notice, businesses which are not grocery, pharmacy, medical, or manufacturing are required to close and their employees must work from home. The purpose of this order is to get more people to stay home and be socially distanced, with the intention of flattening the curve in the spread of COVID-19.

If you are able to complete your job functions from home please continue to do so. There are some of us who may need or be required to report to the WCD campus to ensure the operation of our facilities and our business. Those required to do so will receive a separate email from me later this afternoon. If you do not receive the separate email then you are expected to continue to work from home until further notice.

The WCD leadership team will continue to share information as it is available to us. Please reach out to your manager with further questions. I know these are uncertain times and circumstances, and I appreciate your continued flexibility and support to keep the WCD up and running to the best of our ability.
